Albergo Olisipo is located near the Avenida da liberdade in central Lisbon. Nearly everything you will be visiting is in walking distance, or easily accessible via public transportation. There are two Metro stations very close to the hostel, so if those seven hills are getting to you, you do not have far to go to hop on a train!
With only a limited number of rooms, Albergo Olisipo is small enough to be cozy but big enough to offer some nice amenities. The rooms themselves are colorful and clean, having recently been refurbished, and the entire atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. The largest dorm-style room only sleeps six people, so even if you want to sleep in the cheapest bed you are still not going to have to suffer through sharing a room with 20 new friends!

The amenities offered at Albergo Olisipo include both internet access and WiFi, free use of the community kitchen and the individual security lockers and a TV in the common room with a DVD player for those quiet nights in - after a few nights of dancing ’til dawn, you just might need it. Plus, the hostel’s computer has a CD-burner so you can get all those photos off your digital camera.
Reception at Albergo Olisipo is not open 24 hours a day, but if you will be arriving after midnight just let them know and someone will be available to let you into your room. The hostel does not accept credit or debit cards, so be sure to have some extra cash when you get to Lisbon.
