The Globetrotter Inn is all the things that make a hostel in London great - it is cheap, fun, safe and clean and it has a great social atmosphere. Its location in the Hammersmith area is a short Tube ride from London’s airports (making it easy to reach when you arrive) as well as pretty much anything you would want to do or see in the city. But the hostel is also in a quiet residential part of the busy city of London, where you can relax after a long day spent sight seeing. That is only if you want to relax, of course - if not, there is always the Globetrotter Bar!
In addition to the usual things you will find at pretty much any hostel in London, the Globetrotter Inn also offers some unheard of perks. Guests enjoy drinks each night in the Globetrotter Bar, and can participate in the weekly pub crawl led by knowledgeable locals. Each bunk features a privacy curtain and its own reading light, and each guest gets a backpack-sized locker to keep stuff in while sight seeing. The Globetrotters staff can provide all kinds of travel information - including tour bookings around London - so you do not have to search for it. The hostel features an on site gym, just in case walking all over the city is not enough exercise for you. If you are trying to save money on food, you can eat for cheap at the bar seven days a week or cook your own meals in the fully equipped guest kitchen - and the staff will even do your dishes for you! Most people do not even have that luxury at home.
Some of the amenities at the Globetrotter Inn are:
Globetrotter Inn is located very close to a Tube station - it is in Zone 2, which might cost a little more per ride, but you will be saving quite a bit by staying there in the first place so that makes up for it. And did we mention that they will do your dishes for you? That alone makes Globetrotters one of London’s best hostels, and there is plenty more to love about it, too.
